U-M’s State Relations team is committed to building and nurturing strong relationships with state government officials and agencies. Based in Lansing, our State Relations team engages with lawmakers, state agencies, and community leaders to secure funding, influence policy, and represent the university’s interests in state-level discussions. 

Through our advocacy efforts, we strive to ensure that the University of Michigan remains a vital contributor to the state’s economic growth, innovation, and quality of life.
