U-M United Way

For more than 50 years, United Way has been the sole non-profit campus-wide partner, working to create meaningful change in Washtenaw County and beyond. Throughout this long standing partnership between the University of Michigan, Michigan Medicine, and United Way for Southeastern Michigan, our hardworking and dedicated employees have raised over $35 million dollars, which directly impacts the lives of many local families and children.

Each year, our United Way campaign runs from October – December, and together, we raise on average of $1.2 million dollars. These generous donations do more than just support those in need—they empower entire communities.
