Federal Relations

U-M’s Federal Relations team is dedicated to fostering and maintaining collaborative relationships between the university and federal government entities including the U.S. Congress, most notably the Michigan delegation. 

Our office, located in Washington, D.C., works closely with lawmakers, federal agencies, and national organizations to advocate for policies and resources that support the university’s mission of excellence in education, research, and public service.
